Backyard glamping FAQ for Central New Jersey

We’re a backyard glamping delivery service in the Central New Jersey area. We bring a fully furnished 16-ft bell tent to your yard (or another pre-approved spot), set it up with real beds and cozy styling, and pack everything out when you’re done — so you get a staycation without camping gear or a long drive. Glamping blends “glamorous” and “camping.” You sleep outdoors under canvas with plush bedding, soft lighting, and comfort — not a bare tent and an air mattress.

Couples (date nights and anniversaries), families (family staycations), kids’ birthday sleepovers, small friend hangouts, and anyone who wants something special without leaving home. We focus on one or two tents for intimate backyard moments.

Not as a main offering right now. Large multi-tent weddings need more inventory and logistics than we currently support. For a small private celebration with one or two tents, we’d love to help — send an inquiry.

From $500 for the first night with one tent — that includes delivery, full setup, and pack-out. Extra nights are $200 per tent. A second tent at the same address is +$500 for the first night. Not exactly. The $500 rate is for the first night and includes the labor-heavy parts: delivery, setup, and pack-out. Additional nights are $200 each per tent, so longer stays lower your average cost. Example: two nights with one tent is $700 total (~$350/night average), not $1000. See multi-night examples.

No. Queen, twin beds, cots (up to 6), and kids sleepover (up to 8) all start at the same base rate. You pick the layout that fits your group — not a different price tier. See bed layouts.

A 16-ft fully furnished bell tent, your chosen bed layout (queen and twins are 14″ elevated with a 6″ memory foam mattress; cots are 14″ elevated with a 3″ memory foam mattress pad; kids sleepover uses 3″ memory foam mattress pads on the floor), hotel-style pillows and soft bedding, Boho Glow default styling (soft neutrals, warm lights, cozy layers), ambient interior lighting, exterior string lights, and full setup plus pack-out. Every tent includes our Boho Glow styling at no extra charge — soft neutrals, warm lights, and cozy layers. We don’t sell a catalog of décor packages. If you have a specific look in mind, send a custom theme request and we’ll confirm whether we can source and style it, then quote a fixed price starting at +$200 per tent. Want a movie under canvas? Payment is handled manually after we confirm your quote. We’ll share payment options when we lock in your booking (for example Venmo, Zelle, cash, or another method we agree on).

Typically yes — a deposit helps hold your date after we confirm the quote. Exact deposit amount and due date are shared when you book. The balance is due before or at setup, as agreed. Start with an inquiry.

If you cancel 7 or more days before setup, the deposit is refundable minus a $50 administrative fee, or you may reschedule once to a mutually available date within 90 days. If you cancel fewer than 7 days before setup, the deposit is forfeited; any unpaid balance isn’t charged if not yet paid. If we cancel (including for severe weather safety), you get a full refund of amounts paid or a free reschedule.

We’ll try our best. Date changes depend on availability and are confirmed in writing (email or text). Peak weekends and holidays may have less flexibility.

A mostly flat, open area about 21 feet in diameter for one 16-ft bell tent — enough room for the tent, stakes or sandbags, and walking around. Clear toys, furniture, and debris before we arrive. Full checklist in our yard space guide.

Grass is ideal for staking. Patio, deck, turf, or other hard surfaces can work with a sandbag setup (+$100). Tell us your surface when you inquire so we plan the right gear.

If we stake, please tell us about sprinkler lines, irrigation, or anything else buried in the setup circle — we can’t see underground. A tent can also flatten or yellow the grass, especially in heat or on a longer stay. That’s a normal part of backyard glamping, and we can’t restore the lawn afterward. Prefer no stakes? A reasonable path from the street or driveway to the setup spot so we can carry poles, canvas, mattresses, and décor. Steep stairs, locked gates, or very tight side yards can slow us down — mention access notes when you book.

Most bookings are residential backyards. Other pre-approved private locations may work (ask first). We currently don’t provide bathrooms or showers off-site — for non-home locations, you’ll need restroom access nearby. Contact us to discuss.

Almost all setups are outdoors. Rare indoor installs may be possible with a high enough ceiling and sandbags instead of stakes — contact us to discuss.

Setup is usually in the afternoon on your start day; pack-out is typically the following morning (or later if you booked extra nights). Exact windows are confirmed when you book and can depend on our route that day. See how it works.

Someone 18+ should be reachable and able to provide access to the yard. You don’t have to hover the whole time, but we need a clear contact if gates, dogs, or neighbors need coordinating.

It varies with access and conditions, but plan for us to be on site long enough to fully erect, furnish, and style the tent. We’ll give a tighter window when we confirm your booking.

Queen (sleeps 2): 14-inch elevated bed with a 6-inch memory foam mattress. Twin beds (sleeps 2): same 14-inch elevation and 6-inch memory foam mattress, two beds. Cots (up to 6): 14-inch elevated with a 3-inch memory foam mattress pad. Kids sleepover (up to 8 kids, generally 12 and under): 3-inch memory foam mattress pads laid out on the floor. Besides beds: hotel-style pillows, soft bedding, rugs and cozy layers, side tables or trays, ambient lighting, exterior string lights, and thoughtful styling. Every booking is fully furnished — you shouldn’t need to bring camping gear. More on what’s inside and photo gallery.

We can run lights and approved low-draw amenities with extension cords when you have outdoor access to power. Tell us if outlets are limited or far from the tent.

We don’t include full HVAC. Weather-appropriate layers, blankets, and common-sense planning go a long way. Only use heaters or devices we provide or explicitly approve — open flames and unapproved heaters inside the tent are not allowed. See tent guidelines and seasonal weather tips.

About 16 feet round, roughly 10 feet tall at the center, and around 212 square feet of floor space — roomy enough for a proper bed setup and walking space (layout-dependent).

For backyard glamping, use your home bathrooms and showers. That’s a big part of the staycation perk. We don’t provide portable restrooms.

No open flames or cooking devices inside the tent. Outdoor fire pits or grills are your responsibility and must stay a safe distance from the canvas. Never leave flames unattended, and never bring charcoal or fuel into the tent. Full safety rules on our Guidelines page.

Keep the entrance zipped when practical — the tent fully encloses when closed, and windows have screens. Please don’t spray insect repellent inside the tent (it can damage fabric and lingering smells bother later guests). See guidelines.

Kids are welcome under adult supervision. No climbing on walls or poles, no hanging heavy items from the structure, and follow the same care rules as adults. The tent is lodging, not a playground. Planning a party? Read kids birthday sleepover tips.

Yes, carefully — but not on the beds. Spills on mattresses and linens are hard to fix. Use trays and tables, and clean up crumbs so pests stay away. Tent guidelines cover the details.

Yes — just let us know roughly how many people will be in or around the tent so we recommend the right layout. Sleeping capacity depends on the bed layout you chose.

Please keep pets outside the tent. Fur and dander stick in bedding and can affect guests with allergies. Pets in the yard are fine if they’re controlled and don’t damage equipment. See guidelines.

Highlights: no shoes inside; no smoking, open flames, or cooking inside; no food/drinks on beds; no pets inside; no glitter/confetti/slime/paint/markers; no climbing the structure; only approved heaters/devices; supervise kids; keep zippers closed when practical; leave a clear path for pack-out. Our canvas is water-resistant and handles light rain well. Keep zippers closed in wet weather. If severe storms, high winds, flooding risk, or other unsafe conditions are expected, we may reschedule or cancel for safety and work with you on a new date or refund per our policy. Yes — we book all seasons. Every stay is still weather-dependent. If heat, cold, wind, or storms make a canvas night unsafe or miserable, we’ll work with you to reschedule. Dress for the forecast and use the bedding we provide. Tips by season: year-round glamping weather guide.

Comfort varies with the forecast year-round. Dress for the weather, use the blankets we provide, and plan shade or extra layers as needed. Extreme conditions may lead us to recommend rescheduling rather than push a setup that won’t feel good. See seasonal tips.

We stake or sandbag properly for normal conditions. Extreme wind can still be unsafe for any temporary structure — we’ll make the call if a setup shouldn’t go forward.

Tell us right away. Normal wear is expected; damage from misuse, prohibited items, or ignoring guidelines may be charged for repair or replacement. See Guidelines for care rules.

You’re responsible for your property and guests. This rental isn’t a substitute for homeowner or renter insurance. If you’re unsure about liability for a larger gathering, check with your insurer.

Clear the setup circle, unlock gates, secure pets, and leave a path from the car to the yard. Have a contact person available. That’s usually enough. Checklist: yard space guide and how it works.

Personal items, chargers, weather-appropriate clothes, and anything special for your occasion (cake, games, playlist). We bring the tent and the sleep setup. S’mores kits are an optional add-on if you want them from us — see add-ons.

Yes. Bedding and equipment are maintained between stays. Following the no-shoes / no-mess guidelines helps us keep every experience fresh.

As early as you can — especially for weekends, holidays, and nice-weather months. Last-minute requests are sometimes possible if the calendar is open; ask on the inquiry form.
